Squeaking in just before the month ends, Ryan and Luke come out with another episode of the Incredible Hulkcast. The guys lament Greg Pak’s departure from Incredible Hulks, and then they and some listeners list who they want to see take over the book. Then there’s the usual reviews and a couple extra ones from Ryan. Plus: learn why Luke hates beards and Ryan hates America. All of this and more in less than 90 minutes.

After only a very brief break this time around, co-hosts Gary Miller and Jonathan Westhoff return with another thrilling episode of the Spectacular Spider-Cast! This time out, Gary and Jon begin by reviewing the two-part storyline “No One Dies” from Amazing Spider-Man #655-656 by Dan Slott and Marcos Martin. They then embark on a bonus diversion, reviewing Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting’s FF #1 featuring ol’ webhead taking Johnny Storm’s place on the team. Lastly, the guys make up for the lack of focus on a classic storyline last outing with a review of “The Owl/Octopus War” from Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #72-79, wondering why nobody’s collected this one in a color graphic novel collection yet! Tune in and enjoy!

We welcome Nate to the crew this second episode of the new podcast. After scheduling issues we attempt to stay awake into the wee hours of the night to get this one finished. There’s a failed attempt at a decent Top 5 and we have a short discussion about the upcoming X-Men: First Class movie, which Wolverine will NOT be in. We also have a new voicemail number and I chose it just to spite my co-hosts and to show them who’s boss. There’s a little too much Spidey talk, and that will no longer be tolerated (let’s all look at the new guy). Since I couldn’t come up with a good name for the episode, I’ll blame Nate and since he’s Canadian, I blame Canada.
NEW Voicemail Number: (424) 704-3667 [DOOP]
Books Covered: Wolverine #5.1, Wolverine #1000, Daken #5, Wolverine: The Best There Is #3, X-Men #7
Throwbacks: Wolverine (Vol. 2) #4-6
Intro: Nature of the Beast by The Angels
